Sergio Santos told us there is a 100% chance that he will be ready by opening day for the Blue Jays. Santos has been throwing for 4 months

Throwing for 4 months? Wasn't there an article as recent as sometime around the beginning of this month that said that Santos was feeling great and wanted to start throwing, but the Jays were still prohibiting it? Pretty sure i didn't imagine that...

Yes and as recently as December 2nd or 3rd AA said he hasn't seen him throw on a mound yet. I think it may have been AA on PTS saying Santos wanted to throw but they wouldn't let him.

He may have been throwing, just not from a mound or long toss.

I didn't take from his comment that throwing means 95 mph fastballs. Just tossing to see if he feels sensitivity in shoulder, and to slowly build up some strength.
