So the Rays have re-united half of our infield from last year. Ship Lind there to make it 3/4?

Nope. He's in RF.

Zobrist has 3 years left on one of bests contract in all of baseball, the Rays won't be moving him anytime soon.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.

The Tampa Bay Jays! Escobar and Johnson are decent players, but we also know their weaknesses. Going to be interesting going against them this season

From what I can tell Jose Molina is still with them, so the former jay's club is even bigger.

At the end of the day, that's not a bad, cheap middle infield. I would imagine they might platoon KJ with Zobrist (when he's not in RF) which would make him far more valuable. He was a monster is 2010 and a pretty solid player with the Braves prior to that. It's not out of the question that he could bounce back.

yunel and kj played a season together in Atlanta, Toronto and now Tampa. They are a packaged deal.

Damn the Rays, another smart signing. Always finding ways to maximize value for cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if KJ had a bounce back season if healthy at all. You always know he's good for the walks, anyway.

It shows. Their chemistry in turning the double play was impressive.

It's possible he could have a bounce back season, but I would be surprised.
His sky rocketing K% and his plummeting contact % over the past three seasons is pretty telling of what to expect.

The guy has been missing on a lot of swings over the past couple of years and it's trending downward.
