He won't have enough leash to be anywhere near as bad as last season. If he's that terrible again he'll be out of a job by May.
EDIT: for some reason I thought that was referencing Romero. As for Lohse, he's not likely to repeat his performance. Certainly not his ERA. With Happ already a surplus starter, I doubt Lohse would want to sign here anyway. I mean, he'd be decent, I'm sure. Probably better than Buehrle/Romero/Happ. I just don't see it happening. The first round pick is protected but the money would just be too much.
