Self explanatory, but not clear whether that means Morrow will miss a start. He was playing catch with Pete Walker at Fenway today.

Did AA not say yesterday that Jenkins still needed a couple more games before he's ready to come back. I hope this isn't another Romero Panac-style move.

Here's the AA quote

"Jenkins same thing, he just had a 75-pitch outing. Solid start. Five innings. Probably need to see a few more, but he certainly could be an option as well going forward."

Would have been poetic to have Jenkins pitching the day after Ortiz. A passing of the torch, where the torch ends up being clubbed 450 feet.

Through considerable mental effort, I see no one on the mound today. The ball just magically floats in to the plate.

This won't end well. Jenkins had 57 K in 114 IP in AA last season.
