Talk of this shoulder issue only surfaced late yesterday, now it's serious enough to put Oliver on the DL

The @BlueJays have placed LHP DARREN OLIVER on the15-day DL with a left shoulder strain retroactive to May 19.

As for Happ, that knee injury must be lingering.

LHP SEAN NOLIN had his contract selected and will make his MLB debut this evening. LHP J.A. HAPP has been transferred to the 60-day DL.

Does anyone else wish we called up Stroman? Or is it way to early?

His time isa going to come, and fairly soon IMO, but he's had one start, five innings total, since coming off suspension, and unlike, say, Nolin and Jenkins, who have had a lot of innings in the org prior to this season, Stroman's role has been mainly in two-inning relief stints. Now they are focussing on starting, and stretching out his innings. If they want to start him at the major league level, they have to have him comfortable with five inning stints at a minimum. After a few more starts, and assuming success, we will likely see him at BUF or Toronto.

Stroman will probably get a shot to start sometime in June Im thinking. And I wonder if he even does start a game at AAA Buffalo, the way we have promoted pitchers in the past.

Stroman is the kind of guy I'd love to see on this team. I really enjoy this ethusiasm and small man syndrome like attitude, every team needs a guy like that no matter what sport.
That's what she said.

I just hope Casey's arm doesn't fall off any time soon or we'll be in a world of trouble.
