No point in trading for McCann unless you're going to extend him. And it won't be easy to extend McCann considering he's set to be the top FA catcher on the market next season. Personally, I'd love to get him for next year, but it's going to cost them.

I also don't know about JPA "refusing" to be anything. The problem with him is that he just isn't that good. But he's not going to be going anywhere for the time being, not when his replacements consist of guys like Thole, Blanco, and Nickeas.

making a couple trades wouldnt be so bad for the jays its not working thats for sure.

COL has a couple interesting players just toiling in AAA. Colvin and Rutledge. Can't imagine Rutledge would be any worse at 2B then the **** we run out there everyday.

melky and rasmus isnt he on a year contract?he wont be staying my assumption was even if jays did well this season ramsmus wouldnt be stayin.
