I've lived in Toronto most of my life, but the only teams I like at this point are the Raptors & Blue Jays. Can't stand the overhyping of the Leafs and the sport of hockey and the media representing them. I don't think that just because you live in a city you automatically have to like all the sports teams or root for them. In fact I root against the leafs whenever possible. lol

I'm not a hockey fan either but i couldn't help but feel absolute sorrow when they choked like that. idk.

Right, but actively rooting against them is the worst. I'm not a hockey fan either but I want the city and people to have success. The only thing worse are Torontonians who are Sens fans.

The worst?

I think there are far worse things. lol

Sorry, can't stand the team whatsoever. What's worse for me are people rooting for a team just because they live in that city or thumbing their nose at people that don't get in line and lick the leaf's asses.

Did you watch the Leafs last season? They're getting better

1 season does not a tradition make. They've been awful for a whole generation, if not more. The Raptors also made it to the second round once. Doesn't make them even mediocre.

If only they played the Sens instead of Boston they wouldn't have wasted a 3 goal lead with 10 minutes left.

No he shat the bed when he decided it was smart to empty the farm for overpaid free agent contracts and a 38-year-old.

I'm a fan of all three Toronto teams.

That being said, growing up I like the Nordiques (no-one liked the leafs in the 80s). But I came back when Quebec moved to Colorado (how could I cheer for a team that acquired our nemesis - Patrick Roy)

I will say, that up until last year, I had stopped watching Hockey all together. I just got turned off from two lockouts ago and never picked it back up. Way to addicted to Raptors Real-GM.

Oh and the Article in question, is more about how AAs moves this year haven't worked out as planned but that we are probably still buyers because we still have a good shot for next year.

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
