i assume you're watching the crappy MLB broadcast on sportsnet? they talked about both in the fox broadcast, mentioning how EE has the 2nd most jacks of all right-handed hitters since 2012 and how delabar has a bionic elbow, even showing a close-up of his scar. joe buck has surprisingly not offered up any backhanded compliments to anything toronto-related.

yep. was was watching the crappy MLB broadcast... lots of chitter chatter. switched to Fox now.

I prefer Buck's En-CARNASHONE. And yes, those ten letters are one syllable. Somehow.

Remember when AA offered Grilli more than the Buckos?

It makes me happy that Joe Nathan's beard is more of a patchy mess than my own.

meh, who would you give it to instead? Sale was the only pitcher who pitched more than an inning (2 innings) and no batter had more than one hit.

I understand your point, no one stood out as an MVP candidate. I just think no matter what, this is a ridiculous way to award an MVP. Someone was the most valuable player of this game, and it wasn't Rivera.

Both ways seem odd to me, I'm more used to / prefer En-Car-Naseeon

Heh, the whole All-Star Game was a big, sloppy kiss for Mariano Rivera.

And y'know what? I'm okay with that. He's a legend, and a thoroughly good person. Upon his retirement, his adjusted ERA instantly becomes a record that will never be touched, and -- even though he's a closer -- that's a big deal.

As much as I dislike the Yankees and their franchise, I have a lot of respect for him and Jeter.

Had to laugh when Miguel Cabrera made a pretty easy play on a bouncer to 3rd and the announcer declared that he was one of the best fielders at 3b...lol

This is clearly the best Miggy highlight of the all-star game.
