It's taken a while, but it looks like the Red Sox fans are finally coming to the same realization about him: http://sonsofsamhorn.net/topic/79124-82 ... st/page-25

the sons of sam horn game thread reads like one of many 2012 series threads on this board. i can't say i've agreed with every move gibby's made this season, but i can't say we've complained even half as much as sox fans are doing now after yet another #farrellball decision either. bringing in a pitcher who hasn't been able to hit the broad side of a barn this season, in to face a batter with the bases juiced with the game on the line, yeah i'd be pretty damn irritated too if i were a sox fan

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Can't believe the Yanks are a game back. Please let us never speak of the demise of the Yankees ever again.

Yeah, this entire offseason I was like, they can't be good, right? I mean, look at the roster and the injuries, they're finally going to fall apart. I know I shouldn't ever bet against them and for mojo's sake I'm pretty sure on this forum I consistently backed the idea you should never count them out, but I never really believed that. Who would've thought there would be a big enough horseshoe for that craptacular roster this time. It's beyond ridiculous and makes me sad.

300 million for Cano? Not sure he's worth that much but someone will pay I guess.
