Bautista to Phillies Rumour

Apparently there are rumours out of Philly indicating that the Jays and Phillies are talking Bautista trade.

Unless its a ridiculous package in return, I would definitely keep Joey Bats. Will be interesting to see if this story has legs. The source is Fox reporter Howard Eskin .

Both Davidi and Jon Heyman have categorically stated that there's no validity to the rumour.

Safe to say this isn't true - Davidi said so and it hasn't even been reported on MLBTR.

Inclined to agree. Separate threads for deals that have been confirmed to be in the works, sure, but the other thread for everything of a more speculative nature.
