The fanbase deserves it after years of mediocrity, and especially the disappointing 2013 year. Hopefully this rides keeps on going for the home series which i am planning on to attend.

P.S. Guys i did not catch the game, but how did Happ look overall? I have been this guy's harshest critic because of his inconsistency. This guy does not have to be Greg Maddux, but just be half-decent as a 4th/5th starter, and give this team a decent 5-6 innings each start.

He pounded the strike zone with his fastball, had pretty solid command, I actually think his stat line was a bit unlucky. His infield defense was lacking a bit today. I'd be thrilled if he pitched like he did today every time.

Thanks for this, and good to hear about his command. If this guy just gives this team a decent 6 innings every start, i would be thrilled with that as well.

I can't believe this team is only a half game back of the AL lead, the A's are a damn good team (that run differential!). The tear the Jays have been on is unreal. They have to even out at some point, but they're in a great position now. Even if they were to play .500 ball for 6 weeks they're far enough above the median that they can still hang in there.

As Wilner said the on the post game, the Jays have now swept four of the last five series. Each sweep was against a team that made the playoffs last year. This team certainly looks legit right now.

Edit: Also, quality relief from Jenkins there. He may have fatigued a bit there towards the end with pitching last night and today, but against that offense he did very well.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Possible? Last spring.

Probable? Now.

Uh, now? The Jays are clear favorites for the division, our chances of making the world series are higher than our chances of missing the playoffs

I was at the game, such a great experience. First time at comerica park, and man what a ballpark! This stadium makes the rogers centre look like complete ****! If we had a decent ballpark like comerica I would assume more fans would come to our park. Anyways, watching detroit take a 2-0 lead early and then the jays getting 3 runs right after was awesome to watch. Everyone on this team is contributing, and they are such a fun team to watch, the two home runs back-to-back was crazy and melkman ending it in the top of the 9th sure put the icing on the cake when all the fans got up and started leaving. Great Game, and oh yeah, i also got a max scherzer bobble head. Great day to be a blue jays fan!

Lets go blue jays!

Yeah... That's been working terribly so far, the team is really struggling...

Wait, what?

Today is exactly why. He should stay at 2nd.
