Barring a couple unlikely comebacks elsewhere, we have the second-largest divisional lead in MLB.

The way this offense is going two out of four is a minor miracle. Winning the series in New York would really change the momentum for the better.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

great win, very acceptable outcome for this series. win two in the bronx and we're golden since i have no doubt we can outscore the reds quite easily

A's up 6-0 now.

Honestly, with as bad as the offense has been the last 10 games, I'll take a split here. Going 4-6 in the last 10 games while the offense was as bad as it was is not too bad.

On the morning of June 7, the Jays had a 6 game lead on the Yankees and 6.5 game lead on the Orioles. If the Yankees lose today, it will be a 4.5 game lead on both. So losing 6 of 9 dropped the lead from 6 to 4.5. Could have been a lot worse.

Now just have to hope the bats wake up in New York.

Definitely good to get a split here the way they've been hitting. The offensive slump may be on the verge of ending if today was any indication. Edwin looked more or less back to normal. And hopefully both Lind and Colby are back in the lineup on Tuesday.

Yeah, I have no qualms with playing .500 baseball against the Yankees and Orioles from now through the end of the season. Crushing them would be nicer still, but I'm okay with them needing to make up that ground against other opponents.

Split! Mission accomplished! Best performance in more than 2 weeks I reckon.

Jays weathering their slump about as well as we can hope for. Really helps that none of the AL East teams are really on a roll right now too.

A split is good ... Orioles don't gain any ground on us and neither do the Yankees

All four pitchers did well in their starts, good enough to give the team a chance to win.

Weathering is probably the best description of the last few games.

Take the split and move on to the Yanks. Would love to see the bats wake up and just crush these pinstriped losers.
That's what she said.
