Well, to be fair to Alex, his signings this season (while the cheapest of the cheap) have actually paid off. Francisco has a 1.3 WAR and practically saved the team in May when they were getting probably the worst production out of 2B in the league. Tolleson has a 0.4 WAR and does something really well that the Jays need badly (.988 OPS against LHP). Kawasaki has been solid. If Reimold has stayed healthy, that may have paid off as well. I'm not expecting anything out of Wallace, and hope he is no where near the big league club this season, but AA's "stash them in Buffalo" circus has actually helped the club a bit this year.
