That's the Blue Jays we all know and love, always losing in excruciating ways. They are the trolliest of the trolls.

“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Rasmus and Reimold are MLB caliber hitters. Sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Or in Rasmus' case, the vast, vast majority of the time.

LOL. To cheer you up my friend, i am hearing Mike Wilner right now say that there are 6 weeks left in the season, and the Jays could easily go on a good win streak; because teams have come back from further games down in September to reach the playoffs. So, people should not be that negative!

Not really, though. He's got a 109 wRC+ against RHP this season (to go with a career 112 wRC+ against them). There are quite a few worse players I can think of to put in that spot.

You're comparing crap with worse crap. Rasmus is trash, just admit it.

White Sox owned us this year. 2 blow up 1st innings in this series but the bats looked decent.

On to the next one, these boys needs to get on a roll. Hopefully Lind and EE can get hot....

Yeah I can see the bats coming around soon. The top of our order is showing signs of busting out.
Stay thirsty, my friends

I actually don't mind Wilner now that's he's toned the arrogance down a bit. He does deal with a lot of clowns on his show so I give him the benefit of the doubt with some of his comments and occasional attitude. His shilling for Rogers is unfortunate but not unexpected given where he's employed, so I cut him some slack there too. My main issue with Wilner is that he dismisses as totally irrelevant anything that isn't measured statistically.
