i'm kinda mad they kicked the guy out for interfering with the play, that was a close call and a natural reaction from a human. I wouldn't have went as far as kicking the guy out entirely.

There was another guy who reached for it too, no?

This isn't the try league.

That was one of the craziest moments of the game. At first everyone was booing the guy, but when he dropped the ball and the security wouldn't give it back to him people started to feel bad for him. When he was escorted out everyone in my section was chanting LET HIM STAY LET HIM STAY. Pretty sure the Jays had no control of ejecting him, the umpire wanted him out of the game, he pointed to him and then said something to the security.

Are you referring to the Mets fan? He almost got into a fight with a bunch of Jays fans in the area. I'm not sure if he was later ejected too or not.

If the play gets called a foul ball, fan probably would've gotten to stay. He definitely looked like he was shatting his pants and felt for the guy. It was a bang bang play, and if he was an out of town fan probably had no idea the foul line was right there. But rules are rules I suppose, though I just don't understand why they couldn't just move him to another seat away from the action.

It was a bang bang play that he had to lean 3 feet out over the wall to make. He just wasn't thinking.

The next six games against Baltimore and Tampa will be very important (the Tropicana Curse, even though it ended last season, is still lingering around).

I'd say it was pretty predictable that this would happen given that early on all the AL East teams were beating up on each other and now have started facing weaker opponents from other divisions. It was pretty ridiculous for some people to say that 84 wins might win you the division.

And teams like the Twins are coming back down to Earth. The wildcard is going to be wide open this year all the way till the end. There's no point in scoreboard watching anymore. Everything is in play and we haven't even hit the dog days of summer.
