Edit - Both AL and NL Cy Young winners are going to arbitration.

It's unlikely either of those guys are going to arbitration. Keuchel has already agreed to a one year deal with the Astros so he's definitely not going to arbitration. There was a $5.5M difference between what the Cubs and Arrieta filed for (which is a much bigger gap than between the Jays and Donaldson), and there's also a very good chance they agree on a contract before the case is heard since the Cubs aren't a file-and-trial team.

Fair enough I just thought the article was over the top in its assessment of Donaldson. The writer likely has never spoken to Donaldson and knows nothing about him personally but in my opinion takes an unknowing shot at him.

Yeah I don't know if it will affect Donaldson much, or at all, but it does seem extremely petty and it looks really bad from fans' perspective.
