Not to second guess, but why the hell didn't Gibbons leave Janzen in for the 10th? He only faced 1 batter in the 9th and he can go 2-3 innings easy. Frasor did well, but you don't know how long these things can go.

Bullpen needs to hold this one down.

Does anyone else find the TWins to be an annoying team with all their infield singles and all that. I don't know why...

I say ship em out to the National League...

IMO the way the NL plays the game is a lot better and more exciting tho

Great win BTW 2nd straight Towers start where the Jays ended up getting the win thats a HUGE plus now if we can get 3 of 4 tomorrow itll be great for the team

great win, bullpen holds out. Yes, I hate them Twins because of the reason that you mentioned.

Last year I believed Josh Towers was in the same boat as Araujo on the Raptors but he has come back strong this season and getting a win against a team like the Twins makes it that much special.

That now makes it two straight series victories against very solid teams.

Now the Jays are only 9 back of the bosox, and 6 back of the wild card with more than half the season to go

and the best part is knowing they have played far from their best baseball, so you can expect bigger and better things throughout the rest of the year

After the twins, they need to sweep the mariners cos the Indians are gonna be really hard to beat with the way they have been playing lately.

Morneaus gona DH today, hopefully he won't be too great of a factor.. to be honest I was surprised but I knew something was up when the Box Scores were being so delayed, their usually up an hour before the game today it was only like 30 minutes before the game...

Glaus gets the day off, Wells back in the 3 hole, Clark bats #2, McDonald back in and Phillips starts behind the plate.

Go Burnett! Go Jays!

Crappy loss. It'll definitely take the sheen off of Frankie's 500th.

I really dislike games when we lose on a comeback by the other team. It shakes my confidence in a team's pitching. And the 2 errors certainly didn't help matters. All in all, an ugly loss after a great start.
