Official "Thomas cost us that win" thread @ 1

Post#1 » by Looogie » Wed Apr 4, 2007 8:40 pm

I'll be editing this thread throughout the season to keep track and prove that Thomas is a bust.

First Entry:

Wednesday April 4th - Pops out with runner on 2nd, 1 out. Cost us the win in a 1 run game.

lol are you serious?

he went 2-5, 2 runs and started the late game rally...if you're going to blame him what about Glaus?

really there's no one to blame at all but Burnett if you have to, and I wouldn't be doing that either because a pitcher like him (fastball/curveball pitcher) should have huge trouble in weather like that.

hahahaha, if you're doing it for Thomas, do it for Wells too, to show he's not worth the huge contract

Glaus had to deal with 2 outs, Thomas had 1

Glaus is not to blame, Thomas is.

The fact that Thomas managed to cross the plate twice without getting injured is remarkable in its own right.

lol I didn't even know there was a debate amongst the people...

when healthy, there's no denying he is a beast.

he ironically had a productive game that somehow rewarded him with his very own bust thread.

this must be an inside joke I don't know about.

No joke

In previous years I proved that Mo Pete was the one true franchise player for the Raptors. Now I will prove, beyond a shadow of doubt, that Frank Thomas will cost us the playoffs this year.

Much like Josh Towers last year

What the hell is this garbage?

I didn't see the first three innings, but based on the boxscore AJ Burnett and to a lesser degree Shaun Marcum cost us the win.

Shaun Marcum giving up the Grand Slam to Starvin Marvin is what cost us the game...also...the frigid weather too made the game quite a roller coaster ride.

Guys, we want to encourage quality posting and quality discussions. Lets not bring the rediculousness of the Raptors board over to here.
