Only 97 games left. Start the fire sale.

Storan has been good lately. Bullpen is looking a little better, they need a healthy Cecil back so Loup can be sent packing. People forget that he was the absolute ace of the pen last season. Chavez, Grilli and Storan have all been solid in recent outings. The makings of a solid pen is there.

Our bullpen ERA is actually 16th in MLB. Middle of the pack. That's because half the perceived issues with the bullpen blowing games is the complete lack of offense being generated late in games. We were last in the league the first few weeks and I haven't seen a huge improvement lately.

Did Franklin Morales die. I really was looking forward to him being our LOOGY.

Grilli celebrating is the greatest thing ever. Guy is hilarious.

About Morales:

There is no update from May 13 on rotoworld. I suspect he wants to avoid getting surgery and the Jays are willing to let him "rest" his tired arm as long as he wants (since they have to pay him anyway since he was on the DL long enough to be guaranteed).

The arm tiredness thing probably portends something bad--maybe a clot or TJ or ...? Anyhow, Cecil is apparently not that far away, so hopefully he will come back soon (rotoworld says by the end of the month).

We didn't score in the final 5 innings of game 1 and Stroman pitched worse than the pen did. Can't blame the bullpen every single time.

ive never seen grilli pitch prior to being on the jays, so i youtubed him to see if these celebrations were a little excessive for him and it turns out he always celebrates like this... well except for punching the catcher in the chest, he never did that in any of the videos... but he always gets super amped lol.

He used to punch Martin in the chest all the time back in their Pittsburgh days

when youre up 1 in the 7th and your bullpen gives up a home run to tie and then a run in the 9th to lose, yes, its the bullpens fault... they scored 5 runs that game too which is plenty, doesnt matter when they scored... its not like they lost 6-2...
