AJ Burnett on DL AGAIN???? >:(

On 15 day DL list again. I knew he'd be a bad signing, but this just plain blows. How many times has he been injured so far as a Jay and how many years of him do the Jays have left?? :cry:

^^^ seriously it's ridiculous

As much as I like all of our big hitters, none of them is doing a great job on a consistent basis except for Rios.

Vernon will need to step it up big time in the second half.

Glaus may be moving to another team so I don't know, he's fragile.

Thomas is doing what he can, I didn't expect much from him.

We miss Overbay, Johnson but still...the offense is WEAK!

I've got $10 that says JP has tried to fire Brantley but everytime he does, Brantley goes "look what I did for Rios!!!" and JP gets scared.

Glaus hit a ball off his foot today and left the game. He's going to be checked out once the team is back home. It's like this team has been cursed this season. We might as well make a DL thread.

JP blasted Burnett on the FAN today callinghim a 3rd or 4th starte and saying if he knew he was going to be like this and if he knew the young guys would be doing so well he would have never signed Burnett to the contract.

Ouch. Calling out Burnett....lets see how he responds.

What? Really? JP is a freakin idiot to do that. Whether its true or not, you dont publicly call out one of your players because the manager keeps him in until the 130 pitch mark. I think Burnett holds player options the final 2 years, maybe JP is trying to get him to opt out.

What exactly is his problem? He just goes on DL and nobody even saying what is the problem or how long will it be before he is okay.
