You're asking people to judge seven games in which Upton hit 410 percentage points below his season OPS? To what end?

Smoak has hit well below his career rates the past few weeks also.

Well Upton's career OPS is lower than Smoak and his K rate is also sky high. They're equally limited over a large sample size althouh Upton is likely the worse hitter.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

They should go up to the plate together. Upton swings at breaking balls. Smoak swings at fastballs.

No, it's not. .726 to Smoak's .703, while providing base running and defense at a premium position.

Did anyone think Upton wasn't terrible when we traded for him?

Wrong thread.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Your favourite part of the game was yelling at your TV? ;) And rumour is you've been yelling at Smoak/your TV for quite some time... Do you also enjoy yelling at posters here on RGM?

I was at the game in Houston. You even saw me on TV. Imagine that.

Hey, wow, that's awesome. I had no idea about that. Must have been fun. I guess you can take some credit for the win!

(I lived in Houston for some time. Loved the town. Wish I had an excuse to go back..)

This guy has looked horrible at the plate. Maybe he can't handle the pressure of playing on a contender. Zeke has been pretty good this year. I think I'd rather see him play. Also Dalton Pompey has been raking again. I'm looking forward to September. I would put Pompey on the playoff roster over both these guys. I would also like to see Montero given a chance to play. He would probably outperform Smoak.
