Yep. I have no issue with his baseball knowledge. It's the way he talks down to fans. And I realize that some fans are idiots and deserve ridicule, but I'm not talking about those fans. He talks down to people who actually make good points and criticism. The most disagreeable media guy I've ever witnessed. Reminds me of some posters on this board (not gonna mention names)

I haven't listened to his post-game show at all this year, but I remember thinking that he'd actually toned things down a bit the last couple years.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I like Joe Siddal a lot. Does a much better job on blue jays talk when he's filled in.

No idea how Wilner has a job in broadcasting. Guy is a turd.

I listened for a few minutes last week and turned it off. Wilner is as arrogant, rude and condescending as ever.

The way I feel about Wilner is suspension borderline ban worthy, I'll leave my feelings at that.

He used to just be an arrogant jerk but I don't listen to Jays Talk or anything anymore so that's not an issue for me. My only problem now is that he's just a really boring announcer and bad at calling games. Don't know why they continue to alternate innings with him and Jerry. Wilner's idea of showing excitement and emotion is just being the same monotone voice, only a bit louder. I've listened to many away feeds of other teams' radio announcers (ironically enough as a way to avoid listening to Wilner) and none even approach how bad he is. I assume it's a cost-cutting maneuvre on Rogers' behalf to use the same guy for post-game talks and for filling in half the time as a radio announcer.

Can't listen to him talk about baseball like its a game played by robots and then chastise people when they say the Jays don't look right.
That's what she said.

I can't say I've listened much, but everytime I hear him he tries to go for over the top excitement.
