Rotation is basically set. Stroman, Sanchez, Happ, Estrada.

5th spot is up for grabs (Biagini, FA etc.). But that's again potentially a good rotation to work with.
That's what she said.

I like Estrada, 1 year isn't going to anchor us so that's cool. But yeah, I still feel ownership just doesn't know when to pull the plug on this team.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Good decision, particularly when the 5th starter situation looks like it will be an issue. One less thing to worry about.

I'm worried he could repeat this year. Should have traded him and resigned him

Not as expensive as anticipated. Good chance he's merely a below-average, innings-eating 4th/5th starter next year, but $13m is about what those go for.

Agreed with anaylsis but I didn't see for a second how he would have gotten a raise. I'd rather acquire one of them by trade rather than pay 13m for one. He is far from a young guy. I thought Anderson would be the 5th, but he looked worse than any pitcher I ever saw last night. Now maybe him and hutch could be had on minors deal

True, but there's also upside there to be a #3, which for a one year $13M deal is a low risk, high reward contract. A team option would have made it that much better.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."
