2 walks for Grichuk and 2 Ks for Teoscar with a runner on third with less than 2 outs. Just shows you probably shouldn’t be making any decisions about replacing someone based on a ridiculously small sample size

What a surprise Stroman blows. Might as well pencil an automatic L whenever he starts.

Greedy asking Storman to go 6 as crazy as it sounds his numbers in NY aren't good so i would have been happy with 5 innings and 2 run ball.

Game is pretty much over now

Time to DL Stroman I think - if not his chances of even getting a contract next year are getting slimmer with each horrific outing (unless he's doing this on purpose to get out of Toronto re his loss in arbitration)

Starting to wonder if he has Steve Blass disease aka the yips (basically what ended Ricky Romero's career) with all of his walks and wild pitches so far.

Stroman over his career has struggled big time facing the Yankees in New York. That team has his number. He should have been pulled much sooner.

That is a lot of bad takes crammed into two sentences. There is no way he isn't being signed to a contract somewhere next year. No one intentionally tanks their value to get out of a place to play for much less money because their value has now tanked.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

A long man would have been really useful to have in this game. As it is, Gibby had to roll with Stroman far longer than he wanted to.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

He is not doing it on purpose to get out of his contract. However- his 4 starts this year have been terrible. Not sure what the issue is, but he has never looked this bad in April. Hoping he can regroup for May. He damn sure is not pitching like an Ace, which he said he would in the Spring.

This one is on Gibby and Shatkins!

Stroman shouldn't have gone more than 5 innings. They should have had Biagini in the bullpen or go with another reliever.
