Probably not as bad as the Tigers, but once they've subtracted Machado (and possibly Jones and a competent reliever or two) they'll stand a chance to be even worse than they have been to date. They have the second-worst offense in baseball by wRC+, the worst defense, and were 26th in xFIP/25th in SIERA before this trashing. They might not be the only terrible team in the league, but they're the most comprehensively bad.

We're now 11-2 against the Orioles, White Sox and Royals...and 19-33 against the rest of the league. So we've firmly established that we're not in that elite company, at least.
