Towers pitching well enough to stay in the 5 spot would be a remarkable turnaround from last season...which in fact was a remarkable turnaround from the year before, so I do s'pose anything is possible.

it will be very dependant on the next 3 starts, if he gets anything beyond 6.00 ERA he is out of there in less than two weeks

I think Towers will be fine this year. It'll be Okah who loses his spot to Jansson

No, he won't. But the J.P. will probably keep around too long like last year.

No. Towers will be better than last year but I'm not sure he can stay in an AL rotation for a complete season. By year end, I fully expect Janssen, Zambrano and possibly McGowan in the Jays rotation.

I think he will...but he won't be a difference maker for this rotation

I think he will be on and off. We have a couple of guys fighting for the 5th spot. Really depends on which one of them take advantage of their chanes.

No. He'll be back in AAA in less than 5 starts. Hope that's not the case.

Towers 'seems' to be pitching with a chip on his shoulder, which I find brings good results to a player who otherwise has no motivation to go out and play.

So I predict that Towers will be a 15 game winner and will NOT don a Sky Chiefs jersey this season.

Yes
I say Towers will have a 10-12 win season

Last year his bad performance rolled like a snowball and cant be stopped
Hopefully with a clean slate this year, he can be an above average pitcher again
