No, he wasn't pronounced innocent at all. He still has to do counseling and he can't even contact the mother of his child without written consent. He also accepted a 75 game unpaid suspension. Does that sound like nothing to you? Something obviously happened, he just got off because his accuser has more to gain by him making millions on the baseball field and paying alimony than she does by him being unemployed and/or in jail. Such is reality with domestic abuse, as mentioned.

Given your "pile of rocks" comment as well, you clearly aren't invested in this case or the return, so believe what you want to believe.

And more to the point, the legal threshold of guilt and innocence is not actually definitive of true guilt or innocence. The legal system gets things wrong all the time. It's just that, when we're operating with the idea of public punishments and potentially taking away people's freedoms, it's the best system we've managed to come up with. In terms of actually figuring out who is or isn't guilty, it isn't always the best way to judge. In this particular case, Osuna's actions after the allegations, as well as MLB's and the Blue Jays' suggests rather strongly that he was guilty of something. What he was guilty of, we may never know, though.

Damn, it’s hard to pile this much ignorance into 26 words. Well done.

Did he go to jail? Is he on parole? Does he have a criminal record? You're just as ignorant.
