It's not the same in that, a finger injury is hardly an issue of the entire limb. While players like Travis look rusty when returning or fragile, Sanchez just gets these stupid friction injuries. it's like when you use sand paper too much and it loses it's grit. Then get a new sheet of sandpaper, but with Sanchez he gets the new sheet of sand paper, is a DL stint until the crack repairs itself. Last year they clipped off the nail and wait until it grows back.

The A's lost Estrada to a back issue already, and Anderson last game leaves them with a temporary rotation of Fiers/Montas/Brooks/Basset/and someone else, maybe gio.
