Alek Manoah is nominated for the Dick Howser award as the best player in College baseball. He is also nominated for the best pitcher in college baseball award by the College Baseball Foundation. He was pitcher for of the week 3 “consecutive” weeks this past season.
Past winners of the Dick Howser award are Kris Bryant, Andrew Benintendi and Stephen Strasburg. Only Former Blue Jays to win it is David Price and Brad Lincoln.
