Smart little play by Biggio with 4 outfielders against him with a bunt, gets a double anyway.
I didn't realize how well he was doing , up to a 114 wRC+ now and reached 2.4 fwar. That'll do for his first season and next as he gets closer to his peak. A month ago Biggio was around 90 wRC+.

Tellez is having a good September - .258/.351/.591/.942. The Ks are still a problem: in 77 PA, he has 7 BBs and 25 Ks.
I'm not sure it's enough to secure himself a job next year. We won't want a dedicated DH, and a 1B man is probably the easiest - and cheapest - upgrade possible among the position players. That said if the team doesn't want to spend any money, Tellez is probably the guy to start the year. He's turning 25 next March - so still younger that guys like Hernandez, McKinney, Drury and Alford.

Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

How many times has Biggio struck out looking , when it wasn't a strike.

So the Jays finish 67-95. I think most expected a 90-loss team, so they may have been a little worse than expected, and we can chalk that up to terrible luck with the pitching staff.
I think a fair goal next year is to finish at .500. That means they'll need to convert 14 losses to wins. With a full year of the rookies, relatively good health, and one or two veteran additions to the rotation and bullpen, that should be doable.
