Tough L. Can't expect pen to be perfect, but giving up a two run lead in the 9th inning sucks. Especially when it might have division implications down the line.

Worst loss since a couple of those brutal ones last year. I could at least blame Montoyo for those. Now I’m just lost.

Don’t worry though we’ve got Anthony Kay vs Glasnow to look forward to tomorrow.

1.Dolis is smoke and mirrors. Blame him.
2. Losing any game to the Texas Rangers always qualifies as a worse loss… We lost 2..

It is my fault I started this year tending to not watch the games cos every time I do we/The Jays start losing!

So against my better instincts I tuned in a bit here & there & then they hit that f*cking HR in the top of the 9th! UGH!

So no more watching the Jays!

I hate the pace in which dolis pitches at. That was a very long inning cause he takes 30 seconds to deliver a pitch.

Matz deserves credit for going 6 after that 2-out blowup in the 2nd.

Biggio not able to cash in runners at 2nd and 3rd with just one out earlier in the game comes back to bite them. Another 3 Ks for him. If he's not going to hit for power - or hit much at all - he needs to cut down the Ks and start putting the ball in play more often.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

The problem is that you don't need your 3-5 starters to be shutdown guys, but you'd like them most times to keep the team in the game, not stake opponents early to a big lead, especially not with a shock and awe inning like we had two games in a row. Matz had a good start to the season, but is barely serviceable early in games and Strippling is worse. I wanted another decent starter via free agency or trade, but the thought process of management seems to be wait until the trade market shapes up. I'm not in agreement with that strategy. We're going to continue to hover around .500 with this rotation.

I really hope one of Martin or Groshans busts out this year and can bump Biggio from the lineup as an everyday player next season. Would be nice if could get an upgrade via trade as well. Kris Bryant would've been a really great offseason get.

Wow, incredible AB from Davis there against Glasnow - 9 pitches and gets a single. Wasn't expecting that.

Semien looking like his 2019 self offensively. He's making me eat my words about him in the leadoff spot.

Charlie is told what lineups to play and given every scenario bu the guys upstairs. Anyone who works in baseball or knows who does should realize the sabrametricians are empowered by owners and call the shots.

Even if you refuse to believe that how is it Charlie’s fault hitters can’t execute. Or your SP goes 4 innings and you end up in a bp game with a 2 run lead? There’s a reason you’re on your coach nitpicking every single play and others are being paid. The guys upstairs also have access to better analytics than you whiners as well.

Just watch the game and quit the yapping.

If you think that 'sabrametricians' are forcing Charlie to bunt with two strikes, I really don't know what to say. Given how terrible of a decision that is by the numbers, it's only marginally less likely than lizard people from the earth's core forcing Charlie to bunt with two strikes.
