Attention to detail does win games, but it's a young team - some mistakes are to be expected.

Well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Very happy with Manoah's performance.

Well, we went 3-7 against the Red Sox, Rays and Yankees. Would've liked to go 5-5 during this stretch, and we should have. Lost a very winnable game against the Red Sox and two against the Rays.

Montoyo cost them two games against the Rays. As long as we don't play the Rays for a while, though, we'll probably be fine.

I was hoping for a walk there after 3-0, but that would have been a bold move for Charlie. Yeah 2 on, but Judge is their only threat right now. Predictable outcome.

If you could give Montoyo a WAR for this season up to this point, what would your number be

Something around Danny Jansen’s this year.

At 3-0, you throw something off the plate and hope he swings at it. If he doesn’t, pitch to the next guy. He’s literally the only guy hitting in that lineup right now, just a bad decision to throw a FB when and where he did. May have lost us this one.
