McGuire is hitting just enough to make the decision between him and Jansen somewhat difficult. I think Jansen still gets the nod since he's much more familiar with Ryu, and McGuire has already cleared waivers once. Kirk should get at least half the C ABs when he's back.

We should probably trade at least one of the Jansen/McGuire/Adams trio. Maybe if we're lucky one of them can rent a decent reliever.

If I never have to watch another Jansen AB in a Jays uniform, I'll be just fine with that. McGuire is someone we've already DFA'ed once and he has managed to fill Jansen's shoes just fine, even managing a bit of a contribution with the bat. If we could get even a single quality relief pitcher for Jansen, I'd take that deal in an instant.

It may be a moot point anyway as Moreno is certainly making a case for a call-up.
