Odds are Espinal is day-to-day with something. Even Charlie isn't that daft.

Espinal started today. So it was either a two day to day or Charlie is that daft. Or the nerds are as some like to conjecture.

Anyways, good move by Charline inserting Cimber as the closer today. He could have done something silly like Romano, Hand or Dolis but he went with someone who has been solid overall.

Cimber may be out best option at closer right now. Hopefully Merryweather and/or Pearson make it back soon.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Hand has definitely pitched his way out of high leverage if he didn't show up in this one. Probably for the best.

Not a lot of depth for tomorrow's game, though. Hopefully they can hit Eovaldi.

Biggest series to date coming up. Sox are floundering. Nothing less than 3-1 in these 4 games is acceptable.

He played Wednesday as a sub and started Thursday. So Charlie really is that daft.
