And Pearson is out indefinitely.. shocker. I have no faith in this guys ability to stay healthy or to be consistently effective outta the pen. I've been saying it for two years but this is the guy we should have been dealing.

At least anecdotally, whenever he's not hurt and I do see him pitch he gets hit hard.

I agree, if the Guardians are valuing him in a Ramirez trade, buh bye.

In fairness, this is a weird "injury" to catch, not being baseball related and all. What'll he be out for? 2 to 3 weeks?

Yeah, that's pretty bad luck. Dude is down with long-term illness and it ain't even covid.

On the plus side, I wasn't relying on him for anything.
