And I’m unfortunately sure that was the reason for that terrible decision.

Put some respeck on Tapia name, he's been the 2nd best outfielder on this team, and it's not even close. Gurrriel 5 rbi with standing, and Hernandez, has been for the most part terrible (especially Hernandez since returning from his strain). Either way the way Hernandez has been playing ,Tapia should be playing everyday over him (But hopefully his pinch hit single, gets him going).

Tapia has been playing a little better but he is still only .550 ops. It’s not like he is earning at bats with great play. Give me the track record of Teo and Lourdes 100 times out of 100. ie I’d like to see our regulars playing regularly

Tapia shouldn't even be in the major leagues. He's a poor defender and he's having one of the worst offensive seasons from a regular I've ever seen on the Jays.

1. Tapia has not been better than Gurriel.

2. Teo missed a ton of time with an oblique injury, and was bound to take a while to find his rhythm.

Jansen has missed even longer time and has found his rhythm already, or basically where he left off. How long can you expect Hernandez to hit below the Mendoza line. He's basically been hitting .100 since he's returned and that was a month ago.

i don't like Tapia as much as the rest of ya'll, but it's not like our other OF options has been hitting the cover off the ball, and the fact he's hitting better offensively than 2 of our 3 OF options, is more telling on how much our OF options have struggled offensively. Should have kept Randall.

Given that Teo won a silver slugger in each of the past two seasons, I’m willing to give him plenty of time. Certainly not going to bench him in favour of Tapia.

Tapia is not hitting better than Gurriel.
