Vlad has hit 32,26 and 30 hrs over the past 3 seasons. At this date last year he had 5 hrs lol.

Is Jose sirens going to be an SP or a long reliever?

Signing Max was a mistake lol honestly I thought it would be a Max + Pete type deal when it happened. But just Max and he threw 42 pitches and now is surely cooked for the year is bleak. Oh and Bowden is one of the worst starters in the majors. Rough spot with how bad our offense is (now last in HRs)

Max basically out for the whole month of May since they just put him on the 60 day IL. Still can't believe they signed him knowing he's still dealing with that thumb issue from last year.

People on this forum (they know who they are) actually supported this move. It was always a mistake to flush down 15 5 million on a soon to be 41 year old Damaged Goods Scherzer, who you were lucky to get a couple of good starts before the deadline.

With the combined around 20 million bucks committed to Straw and Scherzer, this team could have spent that money much more wisely to shore up the bullpen with more quality arms, another Power Bat in the lineup (Teoscar), or even a different more durable Starter like Jack Flaherty (who signed with Detroit with one year opt-out). Talk about not spending your financial resources wisely.

We likely would still have the same outlook. Maybe this just ends up being the final nail in the coffin on our FO. If so, both Scherzer and Straw were worth every single penny.

I know it's early but we gave Vlad half a billion for just his bat and he's 78th in fWAR and 52nd in WRC+ 30 games in lol

The ineptitude of this management team is truly remarkable. I don't think I've seen anything like it in Toronto sports history.

Soto is 64th in fWAR and 42nd in wRC+. On a per dollar spent basis, we are getting better value!!!

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
