To me, that takes Hoff outta the equation for tomorrow... I mean im sure he wants to pitch and all, but I just don't think he'd be effective with thirty plus pitches today.

This series I assume, not including the Yankees game?

actually my mistake, that was the first two games, yankees and first mariners game combined

now its 22 k in 15 innings. about the same. a ridiculous number for anyone let alone a rookie.

This team looks like they don't give a **** about that stat about home teams losing 11 of the last 12 games at home in game 7s. They just have that look. 2019 Raptors vibes after going up 3-1 in the Finals

Stupid decision. I would have gone with even Fluharty. You seen that Hoffman's velocity and command started to decrease in his second inning of work.

Great inning for Hoffman’s confidence. We’re going to need that if we’re going anywhere.

Schneider pulled the same move earlier. He used Hoffman in a 6 run game, only to use Little in the 1 run game

There was no reason to use Hofman in a 4 run game. Not after the up and down season he has had

If he's not available tomorrow, then that makes it a completely brain dead decision to not use someone else.

It's not even that he disagreed with it! He said he would have used Fisher instead.

But he argued that Hoffman should never have been considered as the alternative to Little in game 5 because of all those LHBs. Exact same scenario as today.

Hoffman will pitch again tomorrow for sure.

Question is - will he be effective

You have a 4 run lead here. May be 1 or 2 run lead tomorrow with a tired Hoffman

Have faith tomorrow will be a 5 run lead
