Hopefully this is the last time we ever see Little pitch in high leverage as a Jay. Time to decline his arbitration and let him walk in the off-season. I do not want to see this Wild Man in 2026.

Exactly.

I can’t believe we just watched a potential WS trip slip away because of the stupidest decision in a one-run game.

And with a 1 run lead he pinch hits Straw over Davis and still allows IKF to bat in the 9th. Just crazy.

Why did he do it- Little against the meat of the order, against some of the best HR hitters in the majors and to start an innings to face the full minimum

The team is devastated, you can see it in their faces. I think there’re done emotionally, I don’t think they can recover

Only plausible explanation is he's given up only 2 HR's the entire year and they just wanted to protect against that.

Scherzer should have corralled Schneider and stopped him

Dominguez wasn’t the choice there either with all those LHBs

Hoffman!!!

Hoffman would've been the choice. Or even Fisher.

Do we have a best option? If so, who was it

You bring your closer in there. They have been riding or dying with Hoffman all season and he had actually looked decent recently.

Hoffman has been a dreadful reliever for two months now

That’s not your best option there

There’s no real obvious guy to pitch in that spot

more like dumpster diving for a bench manager.

Little too tired to even pitch.
