It wasn't even a save. You guys talked more ish about Hoffman than i have. He did NOT look good in this game. If you know anything (you don't)...you will know they put him in and told him to throw strikes. AKA low leveredge.

He didn't have command but you wouldn't know that either way.

Lmao I’m the one that gave him the name coughman. Go back to jerking off fvv please.

That's a terrible thing to say to FVV's mom smh

Bro...why are you trying to start trouble with me? I'm not a little punk so i do not file complaints. Why are you quoting me in you sig? Would you do this if we were face to face?

Noone speaks or refers to me in this manner in real life. So it's strange for me.

When was the last time we had an elite bullpen btw. It seems like we’ve had pitching issues since 2021…

Come on lol. The guy threw 66% of his pitches for strikes against the heart of Seattle’s order, striking out 4 and allowing just 1 baserunner. Hoffman was very good tonight.

Hoffman was good in that game and commanding his pitches (for the most part) but a 4 run lead is much better usage of him than a 1 run lead for obvious (HR related) reasons.

I hope we didn’t completely burn him tonight because we need all the arms we can get in game 7.

Since when has any of that mattered? Why are you gonna act like somehow you care about arguing on forums.

I’ll argue with you about basketball stuff and disagree with your takes there, but it’s just amazing how you’re suddenly a know it all about baseball too in your first post of the year. Just stop pretending you care about baseball all of a sudden. Be a little more humble. I don’t post on the leafs board for example because I don’t watch hockey. What you did is if like I randomly posted on the leafs board with some expert hot take after watching one game.

really? you guys are going to mess with a batting order that has the most productive bottom of the order in pretty much living memory while our top of the lineup has also been producing steadily? in a game 7?

Varsho hit a rocket single and scored and hit a 400 foot flyball at 103 MPH off the bat.

Not moving him down.

I don't understand what your motivation is to come after me. I haven't directly replied to you or counter-argued anything you've contributed. You just want this to be a high school cafeteria or something.

Again as someone who has bitched about Hoffman all season, who coined the name coughman, who knows all too well about how much he struggles, this is the best he’s looked in a while… which is what makes that random know it all take so perplexing.

I offer you a $1000 bet that i know more about baseball and have played more baseball than you.

And still you somehow managed to post that Hoffman take out of nowhere. And want to accuse me who’s bitched about coughman all year of not being aware of his struggles. Tonight was the best he’s looked in a long time, even with his lower velocity fastball. This was not the right time for the take, which is what makes the brazen audacity of all of this so annoying.

Either way I don’t want to turn this nighr into a negative. It was a great win. Feel free to cheer on the jays all you want. Just keep the expert opinions to yourself.

I was actually blown away when reading that. But you gotta understand who it’s coming from. Some people never grow up. Wildly inappropriate and frankly childish. Quite disturbing as well that he holds that much anger.

Great game tonight. Can’t wait for tomorrow. Crowd will be electric.

Of course you do not want your Man Crush Varsho to move down. He is an atrocious 3 for 24 series, and Struck out like a fool, and could not get the job done again with men on base tonight.

He has sucked the entire series, being a rally killer and hitting pop outs; along with looking like an amateur at the plate Striking out on pitches way out of the Strike Zone. He has no business hitting in front of Clement. Your blind love affair with this guy means he can do nothing wrong.

Other then a few pitches out of the 30 plus he threw, pretty much everything was perfectly executed and located. Hoffman was great tonight

Two great ABs in huge spots tonight and has been their best power hitter all season long (and was a foot away from another HR tonight).

He’s not moving down, nor should he.

Wow, came on here for the celebrations. I'm amazed at how much anger there is in this thread.

Lighten up, guys! The Jays are one win away from the World Series! How about we all put aside the petty grievances and enjoy it while it lasts!

The Jays forum is always like this. Maybe it's a Toronto complex idk, ghosts of Christmas past, but it's not the place to come and celebrate... strange I know.
