I think the scary part about game 7 is that the Dodgers are due for a good hitting game. They've struggled offensively all series long and somehow it's still 3-3 thanks to Yamamoto and a flukey game.

Even if Yamamoto pitches tomorrow, it won't be until later in the game, not many pitches. Plus, how effective will he be? Doesn't change the approach.

Lukes and varsho, both should go down..lukes has been an automatic out whenever top of the order gets something going, then varsho is another automatic out..

Don't worry. Varsho's also due a good hitting game.

Bug respect to Barger for his post game interview. "I was too aggressive and Hernandez made a good play".

Yep yep. Move on. Barger has been great.

You’re really asking that after what you’ve seen?

How does the Ohtani rule work if he doesn't start, but is brought in relief?

Yamamoto is pitching tomorrow

They almost gave the Jays the championship by pulling him away too soon. He must have 30 to 40 pitches in him fo tomorrow.

Sample size of 1. It's a big unknown.

He isn't throwing 7 innings. Bring em on. As you have alluded to in your Varsho posts, baseball is hardly preditcable but I'd bet a guy pitching on consecutive days after throwing nearly 100 pitches isn't gonna be nearly as effective as he was today

They should switch Lukes with Clement who could easily handle number 2 Lukes 6 Varsho 7 would be fine with me.Hypnotize Schneid while he is asleep.

Ohtani is starting....because he can't come on as relief without taking him out the batting lineup.

BTW there's no confirmation that Ohtani is starting. It's just speculation. Dave Roberts said he doesn't know who is starting yet.

They took a huge risk to pull him after 6 and it almost backfired by costing them their season

But it didn’t, we blew it and now they’ve got a huge pitching advantage for game 7

It’s Shohei, they purposely held him out today and it’s the only way they can keep his bat in the entire game
