In terms of avg and HR, yes. but two big differences.

- Gallo would draw tons of walks, making his OBP much better than Varsho. So in Gallo's best years he was quite a bit more valuable offensively.

- However, Gallo was a stiff defensively and Varsho is possibly a top 5 defender in baseball when playing. That fully closes the gap above in terms of player value.

If varsho isn’t hitting home runs at the rate he is this year though his offense is ass.
