Gausman won’t be very effective with a fastball this low in velo

Need to have a quick hook today

Don't want that

I want more power behind our best hitter than Ernie Clement yeah

I’d rather have a guy that will consistently get base hits when guys are on base. Don’t care if it’s singles every time it’s still a run.

Not to mention Clement has actually been a bit of a doubles machine and he is more likely to get an XBH than Kirk.

Miller is locked in. Not to worry, our 8-9 guys will cool him down.

Miller looks like easily the best Mariners pitcher of the series so far based on stuff alone

We may want Woo to come into the game

Can’t be worse than Miller mowing them down over almost 9 innings now

Not even close to true

It absolutely has been true. Clement averaged an XBH every ~12 PA while Kirk averaged an XBH every ~15 ABs this season.

Clement had a .622 OPS vs RHP this year lol

Be serious for a second, he should not be batting cleanup against RHPs over Alejandro Kirk
