Its been revealed that the reason Vlad was struggling so bad just before the ALDS,was that he was using a bat that was too heavy for him,so since the post season started,he has switched to a lighter bat.
First pitch Springer bomb please,to calm/AMP things lol

George Springer (R) DH
Nathan Lukes (L) LF
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (R) 1B
Ernie Clement (R) 3B
Addison Barger (L) RF
Alejandro Kirk (R) C
Daulton Varsho (L) CF
Isiah Kiner-Falefa (R) 2B
Andrés Giménez (L) SS

Would've been my lineup.

Exact Lineup I mentioned yesterday after the game.

Or we could remove IKF for Davis Schneider and stop pretending that starting him makes any sense.

have a good feeling about today...2019 Raptors vibes...then they go into the finals against a team that everyone thinks is unbeatable (Warriors/Dodgers). Destiny cannot be denied.

Aside from the HRs (of which Ohtani hit all 5 of his in 2 games), Vladdy is almost doubling up Ohtani's numbers in practically identical plate appearances lol. Even if you consider the 2.25 ERA and 19 K in 12 innings that Ohtani has pitched, Vladdy easily clears him so far this postseason. This has been a generational individual run, and hopefully it continues for at least another week.

So he's a better offensive player, that's nice. Don't forget, there's two sides. But glad you out in proof.

I'll rethink my statements...

Vlad also plays the 2nd side. He has been great defensively.

Ohtani clears him defensively. Vladi is arguably not better than Cal Raleigh on defense.

Too late now. Hopefully the team can get to Kirby early and often, and guys like Varsho can step up for once in this series.

Vladdy is gold glove first baseman. wtf is top10alltime going about.

There are at LEAST 5 players better than Vladi defensively on his own team. It's like SGA with the 2025 Thunder, great defender, still nowhere close to the best of the best and 5 players on his own team better defensively.

He has an argument for the best in the world in the postseason, yes. I don't think he has it yet.

And I'm a Blue Jays fan arguing against Vladi, I don't like it, so I'll stop here.

That Warrior team without KD did not scare me one bit in 2019, especially after we beat the 76ers and Bucks who I thought were a greater threat.

Doesn't make sense at all to use a weaker bat like IKF over Schneider for only marginally better defense. But they're convinced that IFK handles the high strikes approach from the Seattle pitchers better I guess. Schneider would've been a good power threat at the bottom of the order.

This is insane......

Greatest playoff run in MLB history!

Woah Woah Woah. If we're putting vladi in these conversations (even making the World Series, there's no doubt we lose to Dodgers in 4/5, at the very highest 6). Then where are we putting ohtani at?

If talking strictly postseason runs...

Other than the closeout game vs Milwaukee (which rightfully got a lot of attention last week), Ohtani has actually struggled a fair bit in this postseason. He also had just an OK postseason last year.

Dodgers starters have really carried them their offense hasn't really showed up at all. (Probably won't need too lmao).

I'm in the camp that wanted to see Clement lead off and Springer behind Vlad.

I wanted to see that after Bo went out.

Most important game of both teams. Seattle might make it out for the first time, or Toronto first time since 1993.

It's gonna be close, that's for sure, unless someone has a grand slam, 2 3 run homers or something

Such a lose-lose situation for the Leafs. Win and they get laughed at, lose and they get blamed

There's a significant problem with online tickets supposedly. Should be interesting if they can't resolve it.

Would love for Bieber to get off to a good start then for the offence to get a couple of runs for him in the 1st inning. I’m cautiously optimistic, but I’m proud of the team for even getting to this point in the first place…but let’s just win at least one more game!
