i dont understand why we are having such a hard time scoring a run from 2nd on a single. This is like the 3rd time this has happened already in two games. Meanwhile freeman scored with easy on that Smith single. Is springer that much slower than freeman? im confused why he stopped at 3rd.

Because Will Smith hit a liner up the middle that Varsho had to move to his right to field. Lukes hit a bloop that they got to quickly.

Also, with Vladdy batting, there is no sense running into an out.
