I feel like that week off really helped them both mentally and physically. Needed a break

I’d hate to see dodgers win 2 in Toronto while on a 2 game losing streak , I feel like we gotta end it in 6 in the 6ix

Like I said earlier it was their first time ever facing this guy and he ate them up. Not a lot of pitchers did this to this team. I'm sure they will have extra focus for this one even though they shouldn't need it. It's going to be a fun game.

Cheapest ticket I saw was around $2300 (lol). Wish I had that much money to spare, but I unfortunately do not at this time. Where are the best Blue Jays Watch Parties? Rather just go there instead of watching the games in my living room box.

Double Helix wrote:Yamamoto is obviously incredible and has been his last 2 starts but I still feel like it’s possible to get contact against him. It’s just hard to hit him deep for power. He was 8th best at ground outs on the year.

Where he’s best is control and accuracy and game prep. All pitchers study hitters and scouting reports and try to put the ball in places where those hitters struggle but he sets guys up for their out pitches great, he doesn’t walk many, and when it’s time to pin point he can do it with the best of them.

But I don’t think he’s got unhittable stuff and you’re almost worse with him if you’re chasing walks that will end up being strike 3s with him painting the outside of the zone so if it’s anywhere near the zone I hope they swing.

Have today to go to the Trajekt machine to practice hitting against him. On the bright side, I would think it is easier to adjust to a great performance from Yamamoto first time around as opposed to the Dodgers adjusting from a meh performance from Yesavage in gm1. There shouldnt be any surprises - like the surprise would be if Yamamoto isn't that good tomorrow.

Dang. Back 2 Back homers, most importantly though.....

Yesavage had an all-time game, as a rookie. Dude was looking like prime Cy Young out there. And that's as a rookie! This dude has insane value, and as a rookie, so we may be looking at an ATG pitcher soon.

We got the must-win game, with this dude striking out everyone on the Dodgers. He should've played the full game. Now, Yamo is taking the W, with Ohtani as relief. We are going to Game 7, let's go Jays

Preparing everyone for a game 6 loss.

How thoughtful.

Fun look back on when the Jays drafted Yesavage and he was talking about fighting two gizzly bears.

9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Shut up, and don't speak to me. You aren't adding any value as a poster, and if you don't like it, block me.

I talked good about Yesavage too, and I'm one of the highest on him. Stop hating, it's bad for you to hate someone who tries their best to share their thoughts.

It really is.

Yeah, you've been reported like 6 times here and I've warned you twice already.

Take a break from the board and go troll elsewhere.
