He should still be batting in front of our best hitter, and rbi guy Vladdy.

Why? He has one of the lowest on base percentages on the team.

Getting thrown out on the bases in a 2 run game, smart. Schneider really hasn't been doing much different than Montoyo other than having the players run into outs more.

You want a strike-out machine with a .300 OBP getting the second most plate appearances in the lineup? I prefer to have runners on base in front of Vladdy and Kirk.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

This team has no postseason aspirations. Bunch of losers!

Hit and run down 2 when you don't gotta worry about a double play (unless it's perfect) is uh weird.

Tapia was safe by a mile there. That might be why you want to save your challenge for a situation where you obviously weren't going to be successful.

Can we get a new manager for next year?

would've been nice to use the challenge we don't have. you know, the one that we burned they inning previous challenging a play that wasn't that close.

Bichette has proven he is a good player, and hitter. He hit 2hrs in a game recently when he was batting 5th.
He kicked ass last season batting behind Vladdy.I dont think its smart to seemingly punish a guy for struggling by keep on moving him down in the batting order. We already have plenty of evidence of how good he is.Schneider is a train wreck.
Bo ,or Vladdy or any of these players are either trying to show respect,or just unsure or afraid or not experienced enough to open their mouth about anything or complain about how things should be right now;for fear that it would make things worse-imo.

“Strikeout machine” is pretty hyperbolic.in the worst year of his career for strikeouts, 30% of the league still strikes out more than him.

This manager has made his situation worse by moving him down, and further down.
2 hrs in a game batting 5th could have been a reason to move things back to the way they were because Vladdy batting 2nd,and having decent numbers is not equalling wins for us...Mr Schneider.

Seriously...there are posters here, and probably elsewhere who could do his job better than he is right now.His lack of experience is glowing right now.
As for the pitching the best thing to do it toss a coin.

I found it a bit odd that Bichette was the one moved down today myself. He's been hitting great the past few weeks. Far better than some others on the team (Kirk and Chapman have gone cold).

Schneider has kind of managed this game in panic mode.

Yankees aint scoring runs either.Michael Kay was so grateful, and shocked, and thankful for us not winning recently to take advantage of the Yankees lack of runs/wins.
Schneider is so hell bent on batting Vladdy 2nd,that he may be concerned about looking bad or stupid if he decides to move Vladdy back to the 3 spot, and Bo to the 2nd spot.Bo has speed, and can get on because of it.No pitcher in this league wants to face our Vlad with guys on base. That thought is always present, but not now.Hell ,it might even be worth a try to have 3 guys with speed then Vladdy.

Bo has not been getting on base though.

Anyway, baseball is a dumb game for idiots. Just the worst.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

lol, thats true on both, and this team has been tough to watch for a while.
Its like Schneider forgot what they did last season...very frustrating.
We all know what would work better than he does.
I hope someone singles him out like he has been doing....on the air.
This team is good enough to win the WC,and a round if the right moves are made.

That may have been the most pathetic offensive performance I've ever seen tonight lmao not a single fly ball just roll overs for 5 innings in a row.

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
