I'm glad the Jays were finally able to hack the Mariners pitchcom again in the 7th inning

This team is what the beauty of sports is all about. They weren't favourites or contender and to start the season we didn't believe they were going to make the wild card. Injuries pilled in, newcomers stepped up and they identity of this team was forged. These guys fight and never give up. They're not the most talented team but they play good baseball the way it should be played. Whenever we thought they were out they came back. This game was pretty much a microcosm of the whole season, everyone chps in, nobody is a passenger.

I genuinely didn't think it was home run off the bat.

Varland is a home run machine lmao. I don’t wanna be negative but I’m watching post game **** and Varland is on tv. Can’t believe he gave up another homer

Really? As soon as he made contact I stood up it looked like an obvious bomb to me

I think he is exhausted because of Schneiders overusing him,and not using other guys who have hardly,or not even been used.Maybe now that will change.

I'm definitely having Varland fatigue. I feel like we've seen Varland pitch more in these playoffs than any other pitcher we have, including our starters.

The Mariners are also prolific homer hitters. But yea, Varland has definitely been overused.

Go back and do your homework

My homework tells me this FO has been significantly more successful than AA. Also made it to the WS which AA never did. AA did get there though with a team he inherited.

Yeah Atkins certainly did not inherit Vlad from AA, who is the reason we got this far

lol that’s amazing. One player compared to about ten players. Look at how Atlanta did this year. Team manages to get worse each year the more it becomes AA’s team.

But let’s enjoy the victory. It’s the best team we’ve had since 93. Best era of baseball since the WS days.
