He looked pretty good in that 1st inning, best his FB has looked in a while for sure. That Trout HR was like 360 feet.

Did Guerrero not barrel that? How didn’t it carry. Or was the launch angle too low

No clue where Loperfido is going there. Awful baserunning. Not a good way to keep yourself in the lineup or on the roster even with the hit.

Not a bad start for Gausman if that's where it ends. Certainly the best FB/split combo he's had for a long time, velo was up and he was getting a lot of whiffs.

Maybe putting the guy right off the IL into a big spot against the top of the order wasn't the best choice.
