Manoah doesn't look comfortable right now. That's two batters in a row that he has fallen behind.

I'd want no part of an outdoor ballpark in Toronto in April, May and October. The cold sucks, snow/rain sucks, and postponed games suck.

Also, I'm assuming that Rogers would want it to hold events in the offseason, and it's hard to have concerts in knee-deep snow. I'd be shocked if the new stadium didn't have a retractable roof.

Manoah has turned into Kikuchi this inning. I hope he's just shaken and it's not an injury.

Hard to imagine that isn't the plan, yeah.

This is hardly the first time Manoah has hit a guy or walked a LHB. I'm sure he's fine.

They might want to hit Sonny Gray at some point if they want to win this game.

Would definitely help, though their 'pen has been even worse than ours.

Pinch hit Tapia for Vladdy next time up. We need someone who can hit with RISP.

Tapia with RISP in 2022: .700 OPS
Vlad with RISP in 2022: .793 OPS

Which actually means Vlad underperforms slightly in such situations while Tapia remains his (terrible) self.

Would take quite a needle-threading to end up facing the Twins in the first round, but I'm all for it. They are basically us (good offense, shaky rotation, questionable bullpen) but juuuust a bit worse in every department.

Terrible umpiring on Manoah this game. There have been at least 5 calls that were strikes now that have gone against him and that one to Polanco for ball 4 may cost us the game.

Not great managing by Schneider here to let Mayza start this inning. Baldelli made the obvious decision to counter with a RHB in Urshela to start the inning and Sanchez follows right after him.
